“ALIEN” investigates the feeling of estrangement from self and environment. It is Oil on Canvas (Not Framed).  Taia Akulova uses distortion and atmospheric tension to create a sense of unfamiliar presence. The work reflects on identity as fluid and unstable, where the self becomes both subject and outsider.
